Terms of Service

By creating a zipio account or using the zipio app, website, or any related service (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

• You must be at least 18 years old and a US resident.
• You must provide accurate identity information when asked.
• You may not use zipio if you are barred under applicable law or on a sanctions list.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and any activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

zipio facilitates peer-to-peer payments and merchant payouts through our payment processors. Funds are held by our processors, not zipio. We are not a bank. Settlement timing and fees are described in our fees page.

• Illegal goods, services, or transactions.
• Fraud, money laundering, or terrorism financing.
• Gambling, adult content, weapons, or controlled substances.
• Reselling, scraping, or reverse-engineering the Service.

We may freeze, reverse, or refund transactions we suspect violate these Terms.

If you believe a transaction was unauthorized or incorrect, contact us within 60 days. We will investigate in cooperation with our payment processor. Card chargebacks are governed by the card network's rules.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that funds will always settle within a stated window.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, zipio's total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that pose risk to other users or to zipio.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
